This guide walks you through the complete developer sandbox journey on Veil: sign up, complete sandbox identity verification, add a sandbox bank account, create a wallet, fund it with test tokens, and run your first sandbox offramp.

Who this is for

You’re a developer who wants to integrate Veil’s offramp into an application or explore it from the dashboard before going live. The sandbox environment lets you complete the entire loop — crypto in, fiat out — without real money or real KYC friction. Before you start, you’ll need:
  • An email address
You do not need a real government ID for sandbox KYC — any image is accepted.

The journey

1. Sign up

Create your developer account and start sandbox onboarding.

2. Identity and bank

Complete sandbox identity verification and add a sandbox bank account.

3. Create a wallet

Create your first sandbox wallet on Base Sepolia.

4. Get test tokens

Use the Fund button to receive test USDC in your wallet in about 30 seconds.

5. Claim a username

Optionally claim a sandbox @handle from Settings.

6. Your first offramp

Convert test tokens to fiat using the dashboard’s Send Now panel.
