Signing up takes about a minute. You’ll enter your email address, receive a short-lived verification code, and then continue into onboarding (identity verification and a bank account) before you reach your dashboard.

Create your account

1

Go to /signup

Open useveil.co/signup and choose Individual. You’ll land on the individual signup flow at /signup/individual.
2

Enter your email address

Type the email address you want to associate with your account. Veil sends your verification code to this address, and it’s where settlement notifications and any security alerts go.
3

Enter the verification code

Check your inbox for a six-digit code. The code is short-lived — if it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder or request a new one from the same screen.Enter the code to verify your email and complete account creation.
4

Continue into onboarding

Your account is created. Veil routes you into onboarding next — you’ll verify your identity and add a bank account before your dashboard opens.

What “signed in” means going forward

Veil uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. If you close the browser and return later, or if you haven’t used the dashboard for a while, Veil may ask you to sign back in with a fresh code before any sensitive action (like an offramp). This is a session refresh, not a new account step.

Individuals are production-only

Individual accounts operate in production only. The sandbox environment is for developers building against Veil’s API. See Sandbox vs. production if you’re curious why.
