Going live is a three-step flow inside the dashboard. You can start it from the locked Production button in the header, and some live-only actions in other parts of the dashboard will open the same modal in place.

The three steps

Live identity verification

Veil opens the identity verification form in a new browser tab, hosted by a regulated banking partner — the same form you used for sandbox, but this time it runs against your real government ID.Submit the form, close the tab, and return to Veil. The modal advances automatically once your verification status updates. Your sandbox identity is completely separate and stays approved.For a step-by-step walkthrough of the verification form itself, see Verify your identity.

Live bank account

Add the bank account where your production payouts will land. The form is the same in-app form used during sandbox onboarding — you select a region and fill in the required fields (IBAN and BIC for SEPA, sort code and account number for UK Faster Payments, routing and account number for ACH, and so on).The first bank account you add in production is available immediately. Live wallet provisioning

Veil provisions a production wallet on Base for you. You’ll see a brief spinner, then a confirmation that you’re now live, and the modal closes.The dashboard switches to Production. If something hasn’t finished provisioning yet, you’ll land in Production and finish setup from the Home and Wallets tabs — your production deposit address is in the Wallets tab.

Returning mid-flow

If you close the verification tab before finishing the identity step and come back later, the dashboard reopens the modal automatically so you can continue where you left off. You do not need to restart the flow.

If something stalls

Verification review can take longer than expected, and the identity step will remain open until the partner reports a result. If the modal is stuck at the identity step after a day or more, check Troubleshooting for guidance on stalled identity verification. For bank or wallet failures, the same page covers common bank rejection causes. If you cannot unblock yourself, contact support@veil.co with your account email.
